Rescue Me ID: 16-04-09-00153Lola (female)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Male Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lola is a staffie X who is 2 years old. She had a rough start in life and unfortunately the person who saved her from that then had a change of working shifts so Lola was left on her own for long periods of time. As a result she became frustrated and chewed her way out several times, so BABS have taken her in to find her a decent home. Lola was in short term foster before moving to her new foster home. This is what the fosterer there has to say about her: 'Lola really is a sweet heart would love nothing more than a family. We went out over the fields today with the kids she was on the long line wouldn't leave my daughter's side ... (Read More)absolutely loves children. Out on walks she can't get away from other dogs quick enough she really is timed.' Lola could live with a submissive, non-reactive male dog for company - or with people who would be with her nearly all the time. Definitely no cats! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-09-00148Missy (female)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Missy is a love bug of a staffie around 4 years old. She prefers to be the only dog in the home because she prefers humans and boy does she have alot of love to give!! Missy is wonderful with adults and children. Although she does not seem to be interested in cats outside we would still suggest no cats! If you're looking for a K9 companion that will never leave your side then Missy is your girl. She is in foster in Middlesborough. 25/2/16 - a lovely update from her fosterer: 'She is a full on love bug and enjoys her snuggles. She does like to be a lap dog but does enjoy her walks. She is fully house trained and doesn't snatch food out ... (Read More)your hand. She is very gentle and extremely good with my kids. When my daughter was ill, Missy wouldn't leave her side as you can see from one of the photos. She doesn't seem bothered about cats that she has seen in the garden. She is a one dog house as she craves attention all the time and I don't think she would do well sharing attention. She sits on our windows sill and waits till we come home and then hops down. She has never destroyed anything and has the run of the house when we go out. When we first fostered her I did lock her in the kitchen when I went on the school run but all she did was howl till I came home so hence the run of the house and she is happy with that and no more howling. She is not a dog that barks when there is a knock on the door. Any home will be lucky to have her.' (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-09-00147Roxy (female)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Roxy is a 3 year old staffie. She adores people but as she thinks all toys are hers we would only rehome to adults only or families with older children. She got on well with every dog she has met while in foster, but no cats! 25/02/16 - update from her fosterer: 'Say hi to foxy Roxy, she loves her food, playing and sleeping. She does not like little kids as they are too grabby, and she does not like to wear her Halti, she is learning her basic commands and now can sit and wait for food rather than launching for it. She lives well with other dogs and seems to get on with my ferrets. Not cat tested'

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-09-00145Princess (female)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lovely little Princess is in foster and is doing very well with her very bouncy foster brother and the child in the home. She is great with children. She doesn't accept every dog she meets so we feel she would be better suited as an only dog who meets her doggy friends when out and about. She adores humans and is very loving. She will benefit from someone who can continue her training as so far in her life she hasn't had much but is doing really well in foster, she's getting there. We would advise that Princess isn't homed where there are cats or small furies as she loves to chase them, she also hates horses. Princess is in foster in ... (Read More)Birmingham. We cannot understand why she has been waiting for a home for so long as she is now around 18 months old. (Less)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Storming Norman is a staffie cross spotty thing! He's a tall bouncy baby who had a really bad start to life but he doesn't let that get him down! He has just had his first birthday. Norman was on foster with other dogs and learned how to play nicely. He is now on foster as an only dog and says actually he likes getting all the love and attention to himself. He would not live with a cat. He has met and adores all ages of children but due to his bounciness we would prefer for him to be homed with older children as young ones could be knocked flying. Norman need a home that will be committed to continuing his training needs as he is at ... (Read More)the age where he will push boundaries. He can be possessive of his people and his toys, something that the current fosterer is working with. Can you be that someone? Please contact us if you'd like to adopt this gorgeous boy. He is currently located near Manchester however his Foster Mum is soon having a change in working hours so we need to find him a new foster home - maybe you could help him this way? (Less)
