Rescue Me ID: 18-04-09-00206Tanner (male)
Tanner is the only boy in the litter born somewhere around the end of October/to mid November 2017 is our best guess. He will be a big boy, weighing around 45 lbs in mid April. Tanner does great with kids, even toddlers and loves the water. Super sweet, just wants to cuddle. The mom is a bully mix, dad is unknown...shepherd? lab? dutch shepherd? mastiff? Your guess is as good as ours. He is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and ready for adoption. Currently in foster in SoCal, they can be adopted in California, Oregon, or Southwest Washington. They are working on their potty training and other puppy manners, he's doing well with crate training. Please apply here: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/aW71a6N2i7IVxuGAMdKQ13n (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-04-02-00465Grizman (male)
Grizman is a sweet, loyal companion who aims to please. He knows basic commands and loves to play fetch and go for walks. He is protective, but nice to guests once he is introduced. He loves fires and chasing after sparks and laser lights. Grizman plays well with some dogs under supervision, but he would fit best in a single-dog home. He currently lives with a cat who he loves, but there have been behavior problems with our other household dog. Grizman needs guidance, exercise and attention but has a lot of love to give.

Rescue Me ID: 18-03-28-00640Rosa Parks (female)
Rosa is a sweet little 4-year-old girl who came to us when her family became homeless. She lived with 2 other dogs, a cat and 2 children and has adapted quickly to the dogs and cats in her foster home. Rosa is a great size at 36 pounds. She isn't high energy so doesn't need a large yard, but she really enjoys walks and loved going on a recent 7-mile hike. All of our dogs are in foster care, so please call the shelter at 503.650.0855 to arrange a meet and greet.

Animal ID: 006ROCKET (female)
ROCKET was the runt of the litter. She has some stunning brindle markings and proportional athletic body for a young dog. Keynotes:; Intelligent - Athletic - High energy - Strong Will - Very Affectionate! She loves car riding. Crate-trained. She was OK with a non reactive cat when she had a sleepover for just one weekend. However, that's the only interaction she had with a cat. Her personality note; Always curious about her surrounding, and protective of family members. She is also strong, tenacious, and has a VERY high level of energy; She can make excellent companions for an active & experienced dog owners. It is important that a clear hierarchy be established within the household so that everyone can coexist harmoniously. Activity Level: She needs lots of daily exercise to stay sound and fit and mental stimulation to keep her entertained and happy. She can be a good candidate for agility challenge, because she has good coordination when she run & jump. She also enjoys long walks and the opportunity to run freely in a safely-enclosed area to stretch its powerful legs and burn off her high level energy. A fenced yard property is required to adopt her. When she does not get enough exercise, or if she is left alone for long periods of time, just like most dogs; she can become depressed, bored, frustrated and/or destructive. Keynote personalities: athletic - she will follow her people around; doesn't like to be left out in the yard by herself even for a second (which is a GOOD THING; so she will stay close to you). She is a little shy toward strangers at first - she is an alpha female; she is doing OK with a very few FRIENDLY OLDER DOGS. She takes treats very gently! She enjoys car riding and has received many compliments from the drive-thru window employees because she is an elegant looking pup. She has very high energy level; therefore she should only be placed in a home with older kids (10 y.o or older).
