Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

My dogs name is Finn and is in need of a new adventure and home. I've done a DNA test on him and his breed is Terrier, Dalmatian, Shar Pei, Boston Terrier, Chesapeake bay retriever and I believe Mastiff. He is about four years old and is up to date on all his shots as well as being neutered, he is 64 pounds Finn is a very sweet natured, happy, intelligent,%BD%A0 funny, hyper, stubborn, curious dog. He gets along with other dogs ( though he is a bit bossy, though no aggression or fear issues, he is a humper) He is ok with cats. he gets along fine with other dogs. He loves children but is not always aware of his size and will often knock ... (Read More)them over in his attempt to lick their face.He loves snuggling, he will snuggle under the covers, he is always happy to see people. If he was a person I would describe him as the goofy love able frat boy that likes to party. Some of his negative habits are; he can't really be off leash, he jumps, will get on the counters or steal food, when he's hyper he will run back and forth and bark. He is a bit bossy with other dogs in the sense he likes to play rough and he humps. But he has no aggression or fear issues. I am under no delusion that if i had more time and energy to exercise him more often and for longer periods a lot of of his behaviors would be reduced. On days when I can run him for an hour, he will come home and just sleep or curl up on the couch. I am also smart enough to understand that I am not a firm enough pack leader, I have tried for three and a half years to be one, to no avail. I think the best suited match for Finn would be a home with two or more people, he would love a family but children that are too small he would knock over in one of his spazzy hyper moments. He would do best in a place that he can run ALOT and all the time. A farm perhaps? He would need a strong, patient leader ( I think a male figure would be very helpful, he loves the ladies but he tends to listen better to males) And if not a farm or a place with a lot of land than a couple that is very active. People that are runners or hikers etc. Please contact me if your a seriously interested and we can set up a time for an interview. There will also be a fee which we can talk about at a later date. Writing me on Facebook or my email at is the best way to get a hold of me. Thanks!! (Less)
