Rescue Me ID: 16-08-21-00045Kona (male)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Exuberant 7-month-old female rescued as a pup from high-kill shelter in TN. 35 pounds. Loves people; anxious when unsure, reaction is loud barking and display; easily diverted. Many of her issues trace to lack of good home, excessive kenneling and lack of exposure. Kona is improving rapidly with positive training and desensitization. Would be a terrific partner on a farm or small acreage where she knows what to expect and can be a BFF. She is at risk of return to her point of origin because her anxiety and reactivity make her an 'atypical' adoption. Terrific dog looking for the right person!

I'm looking for a good home for my special friend. At this time, I have been forced to take a travel position. That is no life for a sweet dog. Porsche is one of the greatest companions one could have. I've had her since she was a pup. She is 6 years old. She is loving and great around kids. She loves to play with toys and go for walks. She does well on a leash or without. She will stay by your side. She knows her commands. She plays well with other animals. Especially, other dogs and cats. She has amazing temperament and energy level.
