Rescue Me ID: 18-04-18-00348Deacon (male)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Deacon was starving in January, and neglected. He has all his shots, boosters, has been neutered, and has been in training since February. He is housebroken, crate trained, knows obedience commands, is smart. He gets along with his foster parent's old cat and her little dogs. He wants a dog to play with. Never been around kids; is possessive of his toys, so probably best not to be around kids. His foster mother/trainer in Alabama is having surgery and needs to find him a home. I may be bringing him back to my house the week of April 23 to keep till he finds his forever home. To keep him from bad situations, I will need background ... (Read More)information, veterinarian letters of recommendation, copies of any leases/homeowner association documents to show that he will be able to stay with you legally, and will need to see his living conditions so that his home will be a good fit and will be forever. Rescue Me ID: 18-03-27-00043Trinity (female)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I rescued Trinity from a shelter in GA the day before the was going to be euthanized. She was found as a stray in a trailer park and had been in the shelter for a month. I already have 3 large senior dogs and knew unfortunately she wouldn't be able to stay with us indefinitely. She is a fast learner and eager to spend hours playing, she does need proper training from an experienced pet parent though. I had all vaccinations and spay taken care of, she has recovered without issue and is ready for a forever home. The adoption fee covers 1/3 of the veterinary costs.

I am looking for a loving family to take me in and love me forever. Please visit me at Second Chance Shelter in Boaz, AL.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Radio (who could be the twin brother of another available pup-Ebony) is about 5.5-6 years old, male, and available for adoption from Second Chance Shelter in Boaz, AL. Radio is sending out good vibes and he is listening hard to hear if you could be his fur-ever family. He is a medium-small dog, probably a feist/staffy/magical mystery mix, but full of snuggly love no matter the mix.
